THE FILM / 2013

Two outsiders.
One freshman year.

A funny, unlikely story about growing up, starting over and finding your people.

THE SYNOPSIS

Welcome to Whittman.

When 14-year-old genius and outsider Eli Pettifog is rejected from Harvard, he ends up at Whittman College, a school that was never part of his plan. There he meets Leo Searly, a 41-year-old freshman looking for a fresh start after his gambling career falls apart. What begins as an unlikely encounter turns into an unexpected friendship.

At Whittman, Eli discovers that intellect alone won't get him through college. Between unfamiliar classmates, quiz competitions and the challenge of fitting in, his unlikely friendship with Leo becomes the heart of the story.
